On October 12th, the University Hospital of the Marche Region and two important hospitals in the Longgang district of Shenzhen, China, signed a letter of intent for the exchange of healthcare experiences. The collaboration, organized by Medex Italy, was officially signed with the Third People’s Hospital and the Fourth People’s Hospital of the Shenzhen District, a district with 4 million inhabitants. The Chinese delegation included the Vice President of Longgang District, the Deputy Director of the District Health Department, and the General Directors of the two hospitals involved in the cooperation agreement.
Hosting the event were the General Director – Dr. Armando Gozzini, the Health Director – Claudio Martini, the Administrative Director – Dr. Cinzia Cocco, and the Director of the Department of Radiological Sciences and the Radiology Clinic, Prof. Andrea Giovagnoni. The purpose of the agreement is to promote the exchange of surgical, clinical, and innovative technological experiences, including in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
“This agreement,” commented the General Director of the AOUM, Armando Marco Gozzini, “is a sign of esteem and recognition for the Hospital and its professionals, always ready to uphold the reputation of the University Hospital of the Marche Region and public healthcare.”
On October 13th, the Chinese delegation visited the Territorial Healthcare Company (AST) Pesaro Urbino and had the opportunity to tour the departments of Interventional Radiology and Hemodynamics. Welcoming the Longgang group were Dr. Luana Stefanelli, Director of the Medical Direction Unit, Dr. Rebecca Micheletti, Head of the Medical Direction Unit, Dr. Alberto Rebonato, Director of the Diagnostic Imaging/Interventional Radiology Unit, and the staff of the two departments, who facilitated an important exchange of perspectives and knowledge between the Chinese and Italian hospitals.
