From March 16 to 23, the Extraordinary Commissioner of ASL Roma 1, Giuseppe Quintavalle, and the Administrative Director of the FONDAZIONE PTV POLICLINICO TOR VERGATA, Francesco Quagliariello, participated in the 2024 Italian Expert Cooperation in China Trip. They visited the Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical University in Zhanjiang, the First People’s Hospital of Lianyungang, and the Shanghai Minhang Hospital Affiliated with Fudan University. During the visit to the three hospitals, the Italian Directors had the opportunity to exchange ideas with their counterparts and presented the Italian Healthcare System, the management of quality and safety of care, DRGs, and the degree of humanization in hospitals. An opportunity for dialogue and mutual understanding between top managers of major Italian and Chinese hospitals.
